Arabic

Course Description: The Arabic language is spoken by over 200 million people in 20 countries so is a useful tool for intending travellers, as well as for use within Australia. Arabic has been studied by Europeans since well before before the Renaissance. It was this knowledge of Arabic and Arabic writers that re-introduced to the West the works of the Greek philosophers which had been lost to Europe during the Dark Ages.
