Far South Coast Community College

The Far South Coast Community College now offers a Seniors Internet Kiosk courtesy of a NEC/Australian Government's Broadband for Seniors funding grant.

Seniors in the community can access free training in the use and benefits of the internet and gain valuable skills to assist them to take part in the digital world.

The kiosk is open during College hours and the steady stream of clients is increasing as the word gets around.

One of the most pleasing aspects in the number of seniors who have then progressed to purchasing their own computers and are setting up at home. The College has also been involved with this development and assists seniors to make this transition.
